Tube forming and wire forming
Precision tube forming is used to make components used in critical applications in the medical device, scientific instrumentation and other scientifically advanced industries.
Specialist tooling is developed by Attica to swage, flare, bend and cut tube to our customers’ designs. Requirements for exotic alloys and special metals in these critical applications lead us to supply coiled springs, tube in coils, swaged and formed tubes and wires made to close tolerances. Metals and alloys used include stainless steel, nickel, Hastelloy, molybdenum, tungsten, rhenium wire and Monel wire.
Shaped tubes, including rectangular profiled tube, oval and flat-oval shaped tube and othe shapes are a speciality.
Precision tubes are used as crimps, enabling wires to be joined without the presence of solder or a need to weld wires together.
