Tube forms
Attica manufacturers precision tube fabrications by tube bending, machining tube, laser cutting tube and other tube forming techniques. Tubes are reduced in diameter along part of their length by swaging, creating a funnel-effect in the tube. Flared tubes are made by forcing a mandrel into the end of a tube, increasing its diameter but making its wall thinner at one end. Thin wall tubes and other precision tube assemblies are made by laser welding, precision TIG welding, CNC machining and other specialist tube forming techniques. Stainless steel precision tubes, nickel and nickel alloy tubes, molybdenum tubes and Kovar tubes are supplied. Shaped tubes can be supplied, which are used as electromagnetic shields and in other applications. We cut tubes both by abrasive cutting, by edm wire-cutting and by laser cutting.
Precision tubes and machined components are used in other delivery systems and sensor applications, including pressure sensors to temperature sensors. Other applications include activators, liquid dispenser mechanisms, and drinks industry solutions.
Medical devices and medical equipment manufacturers use tube manipulations and special tube forms. Laser cutting can be used to produce shaped holes and ends through the walls of a tube.
