Maxillo facial parts
Two titanium machined parts for medical use house a magnet. Brazing or TIG welding the parts together would increase the temperature of the unit such that the magnet would not function. A controlled task laser weld in 4 spots around the part ensured that the 2 parts were joined together without destroying the magnet.
